Some new things...

I have been going over and tweaking some things over the course of summer and I have beefed up ( literally) my BBQ concept and added a little to the tea pot that I designed over the my last term.

This is also an older project that I am revamping to add to my portfolio. It was a sponsored project with McGill AirFlow LLC. We redesigned their Leak Detective Kit - this system are usedwhen testing HVAC's in buildings.
They are all not much for right now but everything if you have noticed have been getting a bit of an over haul. This evening marks the newest version of my website! Check everything out!

Tea Pot

Here is the tea pot! It is pretty much finished. There is just one more feature I need to add to the grip and then it is ready to be taken in to Photo works next week! I will post them when they are all done as well.

The infuser took a lot of work to try to figure out how to do it. I also really am happy with the air bubble accents in the base of the glass.

Tea Pot for George

Once again it is that time of year where in computer modeling class it is time to design a tea pot. So for George ( my teacher) one of the nicest people you will meet, I have sketched out roughly what my tea pot will look like.

This microwaveable container can be used for more than just making tea. It can be used as a pitcher as well. Tea infuser can be removed when not making tea but with its intended use one would fill it with tea leave. There are sections to keep all things where they should stay.

i will be posting process photos each week as well, this is not a long project. I think 2 - 3 weeks max.

I am designing a cup to go along with it as a set. I will post that up when I figure out what I would like.

Fin

Here it is! This is all finished and photographed!!!

I am so happy with this! There were no huge mishaps or anything, and by chance and the face that there are very nice junk yards around here - this is the least amount of money that I have spent on a project too! ;)

I have photographed it in a lab but also displayed on a table. More shots will be taken I am going to photograph it with a better setting then the table that I had.

Here it is though! Tah Dah!

Hope that you all like it!

School Project No_1

At the moment I am in the middle of a project for my Senior Studio class.

The project is set up to design a high end product that is inspired by a designer or a design movement. I have chosen Santiago Calatrava, he is by far my favorite architect. I love his high modern style, with all natural forms being used for inspiration in every thing that he does. I suggest that you go to the website and see his designs. They are brilliant while having old European cities resting in the background.

I am designing a fruit bowl of sorts... I am working with bending metal inspired by the human form.

here are some sketches of what I started with and where I am heading as of now. as well as my photo of inspiration.

As of right now the white model is my last sketch model. I am make a few changes but the final will be done withing the week!!! I am very excited!!!!!

This is finaly coming together! I had doubts at first but now things are looking up with this.

Sketch Postings!!!

Here are some of the accumulation of a few months of sketching.. These are the ones that are better ones, I feel. The rest are posted on my website that there is a link for on the left side bar.

I have started to make my plush toys. The first is the Penguin. I will be posting those process photos withing the next few weeks.

Would love to hear feed back! More sketches will be posted as i sketch more over the summer.

Here are some shoes that I have done for a internship application. Even though These would not be nessisarily just made for Nike they were a client of the companies that i was applying to. I am planning on working more with these and build one and try to apply to Puma by the end of next year.
